Cornell and Cheung Kong Team Up on New Family Business Program

Feb 20, 2015 Participants will spend time in the US and in China

Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management has announced that it has partnered with China's Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) to offer a new executive education program aimed at managers in family businesses.

The new program is called "Intergenerational Leadership Entrepreneurial Accelerated Development," or "iLEAD" for short. According to a statement from the school, the program will prepare "20-30 next-generation leaders of primarily U.S. and Chinese family businesses for ever-increasing responsibilities in a complex global business environment."

iLEAD will begin in the US, with an 11-day module spread out between Philadelphia and New York. The second 11-day module will take place in Beijing. The program will cover a range of topics, from digital marketing to innovation in China and US public policy.

In both countries, participants will have opportunities to network with executives from global companies such as Alibaba, Fosun, Lenovo, NYSE, Google, Tiffany & Co., and Brooks Brothers.

The program is set to begin in June. For more information, please see the Cornell - Johnson press release announcing the launch of iLEAD.
