Wharton Launches Program for Competing in a Knowledge-Based Economy

Jun 10, 2013 "Disrupting the Competition Through Knowledge-Based Strategies" begins in October

The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Education has announced that it is launching a new executive education program that will help executives gain competitive advantage through knowledge assets.

According to a Wharton press release, "Disrupting the Competition Through Knowledge-Based Strategies" will provide "a blueprint for identifying and managing the specific, critical knowledge assets needed to disrupt competitors, including tacit experience of key employees, a deep understanding of customers’ needs, valuable patents and copyrights, shared industry practices, and customer- and supplier-generated innovations."

The three-day course is aimed at senior-level executives who are involved in strategic planning, corporate development, or strategic innovation.

The first offering of the course will take place at the end of October. For more information, please see the Wharton press release announcing the launch of "Disrupting the Competition Through Knowledge-Based Strategies."
